Now owned by Sam Shepard, American Playwright, Writer, and Actor. Mr. Shepard purchased Blue Country Warrior at the Haythorn Quarter Horse Production Sale on September 4, 2004. Raised by Haythorn Land and Cattle Company (Ogallala, NE) Blue Country Warrior was the sire of all of our 2002 and 2003 foals. We returned this very gentle stud back to Craig Haythorn in September of 2002. The two crops of foals we have out of him are outstanding! This stallion is the sire of the gelding that Tuf Cooper has won so much on.
